2017 GMC Acadia Technology
The 2017 GMC Acadia technology is spread among four trim levels for this five to seven-passenger midsize SUV. These body styles are the SL, the SLE, the SLT, and the Denali trim levels, like other models from GMC. The SLE and SLT levels are further broken down into level 1 and 2 options.
At the base level, the technology features come with a range of exceptional necessities, including heated mirrors, cruise control, power accessories, keyless entry and keyless start, driver information display, a rearview camera, and automatic tri-zone climate control. The GMC IntelliLink infotainment system is powered by a 7-inch touchscreen and includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi internet connectivity, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, USB and auxiliary ports, and six speakers.
The SLE 1 trim level gives you only two additional technology features, these being a satellite radio tuner (subscription required) and LED daytime running lights. At the SLE 2 level, however, you get the above plus a power liftgate, remote starter, power driver seat, and heated seats up front.
At the SLT level, you get the above, plus an auto-dim outside driver mirror and an auto-dim rearview mirror, upgraded driver info display, universal garage door opener, 120-volt power port, power adjust front seats, and an upgraded audio system by Bose with eight speakers. Also included is the special Driver Alert I package with blind spot and rear cross-traffic monitoring and alerts, lane departure system, and parking sensors in the rear.
The SLT 2 level adds on driver memory settings, heated middle seats, and Driver Alert II, which gives you lane keeping, crash mitigation, parking sensors in the front, automatic high beams, and driver safety alert seat.
The Denali level is the top-of-the-line model, and gives you xenon headlights, upgraded 8-inch touchscreen interface, virtual configurable gauges, heated and cooled front seats, and heated power-adjust steering wheel.
In addition, you can add to the Denali level A technology package, which gives you 360-degree surround-view cameras, automatic collision preparation, and adaptive cruise control.
